SPARSHA literally means a tender touch. Initiated in 1998 with just 15 members, SPARSHA (Society for Positive Atmosphere & Related Support to HIV/AIDS) registered itself under The West Bengal Society Registration Act 1961 (Regn No. S/IL/6669 of 2001-02). Since its inception the organization has been working tirelessly to reduce stigma around HIV/AIDS and reaching out to those in need of care. The TEAM SPARSHA, by design, comprises people living with HIV & their friends (PLHAF) as it believes in living what it preaches. Presently, SPARSHA has more than 1000 members and well wishers in its network. Ensuring our next generation flying high in the air free of fear & discrimination against HIV/AIDS is our vision.
